Vegan Cocktail – The Classic Daiquiri is simple to make and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser regardless of your guests being vegan or non-vegan.
The daiquiri requires just three ingredients – white rum, sugar syrup, and lime.
The sugar syrup is made using a 2:1 ratio. When making cocktails, I mix 200g sugar with 100ml water. Place your mixture into a pot and bring it to a boil. Let the mixture cool down before using it.
Here at The Sustainability Strategy, we also like to add fruit to this mixture during the summer months to give a more tropical vibe to the drink. Add strawberry puree or crushed raspberries to your classic daiquiri mixture. Place into a shaker and have some fun.
